I found a great resource in the website [publixandbeyond.com]. I did my first "extreme" coupon grocery trip today and I wound up spending about $38, I got [10] Vaseline lotions, [4] bottles of detangler spray for my DD, [4] Nivea lip care sticks, and [12] 8 count boxes of Gogurt. People have mixed feelings about couponing, but honestly it's all aboveboard. It's manufacturer coupons that double with the Publix ad coupons. I was able to do all of mine in one trip, but you might have to split trips or do separate transactions. It just really depends on your local stores. My total savings today were in the ballpark of about $85. I did something similar a couple of weeks ago when they had Huggies on sale, I spent about $50 and got six packs of Pull ups, two packs of diapers for a baby shower, and eight individual packs of wipes. Her website gives you the breakdown of what coupons to use and how long the deals are good for. There are websites you can order coupons from, they call themselves coupon clipping services because it's apparently illegal to sell coupons outright so technically in the fine print you're paying for their time clipping the coupon and not the coupon itself but honestly, let's be real...you're paying for the coupon lol. I use Coupon Dede's which can be found here [couponsthingsbydede.com]. I recently paid $5.11 for ten Vaseline lotion coupons, six Suave kids coupons, two Nivea coupons, and six Yoplait coupons plus shipping. I got my coupons within about 3 days. Anyway I know money is tight for everyone, it's a lot to keep up with at first but honestly for things your family uses on the regular it's a great resource. publixandbeyond.com has a beginner section where she breaks a lot down. There are also other coupon resources that you can Google to walk you through it. Also local mom groups on FB can be a good resource too. Anyway Happy Saturday! I'm off to feed ducks with the little!
