I swear these people are making me want to say fuck it all. I was excited about starting a troop this year and had four girls to start with. Well tonight I find out that two of the woman that transferred out transferred to a mixed level troop after they both told me they wanted their girls in a solid troop, the person they transferred to is not even up to council standards for a mixed level troop. Can't do anything about that so whatever, just a little peeved that they said one thing and that's what they ended up doing.
The pastor at the church we are using will not return calls or emails to me at all but shows up at my meetings demanding more stuff. I need your letter of certification, I need a copy of the girl scout insurance policy, now it's I need you to talk to the board and we want someone from the church at all the meetings it's turning into a headache to use this place. Next year I am definitely changing locations because this is bs. If you are going to keep demanding stuff of me you can take ten minutes max to talk to me other than at the meetings because you are taking away my time from my girls.
My troop has three girls, that's it. I'm surprised council even lets us have a troop but I'm glad they are. My co-leader is always there to help even though her financial situation is crap right now but this other mom. Wont return emails, gives me excuse after excuse and didn't even show up to the meeting tonight to get her stuff to sell cookies so I either take time out of my day tomorrow to try and meet with her or wait for another day. I was going to take DD out to sell tomorrow and I'll feel bad if I leave this other girl out but her mother didn't show up and I talked to her.
I really hope next year is better because this has been a headache and I want to hang it up, wont because it'll upset my daughter and the other girls but damn.
