Hey! Omg, we've been open officially 1 week and have 25,000 posts! Holy shit..
I just wanted to check in with everyone and see how things are going, if you have any complaints or anything you're not happy about.
Some things you may have missed:
Randi's announcement on the new forums she put in place (mostly by your requests!)
The anonymous account, which for once, is TRULY anonymous!
Grinch's help thread to talk you through whatever issues you may be having
The site suggestions thread, which we all do read and implement everything we can.
My FAQ thread which is updated frequently as new questions come up or new features come to be.
Information on our Mobile App which I see 60 of you are using, (hopefully enjoying as much as I am!)
And Grinch made a chat thread! Which is a good place to go if you just wanna chat and not clog a thread.
The holidays are crazy so we're going to look at advertising and getting our board out there to catch some new blood, in the new year! It'll be nice to take this time and just enjoy the community we already know anyway IMO but after the holidays we'll be looking at you guys for input and ideas so keep that in mind while you're browsing the net and come up with some cool ideas.
We know the transition is hard (It's been SO hard on the mods too) but it's awesome that most of you have been so eager to give this a chance. We really didn't want to lose the community and I see that BG is getting slower and having more advertisements and issues everyday. So if you have friends not on here, make sure they at least have access to the link for Time Out because I'm thinking BG forums may not be up too much longer and I don't want to see too many connections lost between friends.
Also, we should brainstorm old BG threads that we can revive! I brought back the Unpopular opinion thread, K&S is up and going, I see many, many due date threads, Dwight brought back the confessions thread, Sarah's selfie thread is pretty active, and I saw a (re)introduction thread too! If anyone thinks of any other fun threads we should do again feel free to make it!
Lastly if you aren't finding answers to what you need in any of the threads posted above or are too shy to ask publicly, we have super, super active mods and any one of them would be happy to help. Every mod with their link is posted near the top of the FAQ thread.
