He was a nice guy. Never really treated me badly but how it ended like that made me look back and think of how he made my choices for me without me realizing it. I was naive. But, not now. Thank you though.

As for TTC, when we are ready, I will take clomid. I trust my OB now will take every step I need to get my baby. The hysterectomy side of things, she's amazing. She said she won't do it for at least 5 years. Even then, she said she'd rather wait 10 yrs because of my age.

I was 22 when that male OB told me that. At 22 he wanted me to go through that. She on the other hand wouldn't even consider it. She said it would be no fun at my age to go through menopause. I just trust her SO much more.

I don't trust Evans, either lol. My amazing midwife was at Evans, but the actual OBs I didn't like. They sent me home when in labor with my second. My husband was deployed, and we live up by Peterson AFB. That's why she was born in an ambulance haha.

Ha, she is which is why you wait months to get an appointment. When I first went to her, it was after a year wait. Now that I'm her patient, it's not like that but for new patients, you wait in line! She sees so many patients because she cares. She stays extra hours if needed, no complaining. She's just awesome. I wish I had been with her for the pregnancies/births because I can't help but feel they may have not been c-sections if I had found her first.

Shit that is a bit of a drive. Haha. I never trusted Evans after everything with DS, but I delivered my last baby at a hospital here in CA and it made me miss Evans. Lol this hospital here isn't the nicest.

So scary! I can't imagine the amount of fear in you at that moment!

It really was awful. It was the first time I had ever been through anything like that. I somehow kept it together until they wanted DH or I to hold him for a spinal tap, and I lost it.

Ohhhhh my second, again, got really sick when she was 4 weeks old. Ended up in the PICU at Memorial for 4 days. They gave her a spinal tap, I had to leave the room. My BIL stayed with her.

OMG I couldn't imagine going through that without DH. I cried in the hallway while they did it. They had DH hold him steady, I don't know how DH did that.

The only thing I can think of comparing is when my first was a month old, we went to lay her down (she was asleep) in her crib and as I went to walk away after I kissed her forehead, her eyes shot open but she wouldn't breath. I grabbed her so quick, not understanding why she wouldn't breath. It was like she was holding her breath. Finally, she took a deep breath and cried a little. I was shaking so I gave her to SO and when I did, she gasped a big breath in and didn't breath out again or at all. Just stared up at us with freaked out wide eyes. It felt like forever but she started breathing again and we rushed to the ER. They had no answers for us. Only that if it happened again, she'd have to wear some monitor thing. Or when she was a bit older and had the flu. She spiked a 105 temp in the ER and started seizing. Thankfully we were there and they took her back ASAP. They had to cath her. That was rough but all she needed was some IV fluids and she was good.

I hate how helpless you are when things happen like that. You can't do much. You just know you can't see your child like that or cope with the fear of losing your child because of some unknown.

It wasn't as bad as it would have been if we hadn't already been in the ER. She was 103 and I gave her meds, so when it didn't come down in 30 mins, we left for the ER. That's when it spiked. From then on, I've been weary of fevers. I watch them like a hawk.
