I woke up kinda late I had a specialist appointment at 8am ended up getting there on time though. Anyway this whole pregnancy they had been saying she had IUGR and I had to be closely monitored specialist appointments, NSTs, being considered as “high risk”, so on. It was extremely hard to do. On Monday the 14th I slept and fell on some ice right in front of my OBs office. They hooked me up to the monitored and said her heart rate was high so they sent me to the hospital to be monitored. They did an NST and everything seemed fine so they sent me home. I was 37 weeks 5 days when I went in to the specialist. They hooked me up as usual to the monitor for yet another NST. Apparently something happened I think he called it a heart decel im not too sure what it was called the whole appointment kind of scared me. He did the ultrasound to check her fluid which apparently was VERY low. He looked at her heart and said her heart rate was really high! He watched her for a few minutes to see if itd go down but it didn’t. he told me to go to the hospital immediately and not to stop any where I was going in for an emergency induction. I was stressed because I wasn’t expecting this at all. We didn’t have our bags with us my fiancé was at home with our three kids. I had to find a sitter because my dad didn’t think hed make it which thankfully he did. It was just a mess. I got to the hospital around 9-9:30. They hooked me up started my Pitocin. About an hour later I got my epidural which was extremely painful this time. My water broke around 3:30ish and the nurse didn’t believe it was my water since it wasn’t a lot. The contractions were getting stronger and I started feeling everything. Pretty sure my epidural stopped working. Doctor came in I pushed three times she came out I didn’t tear or anything! My fiancé said I lost more blood than normal but the doctor wasn’t concerned. My placenta was dying it looked awful! I’ve seen my placentas with my other babies this wasn’t “normal”. She was born at 3:56pm she weighed 6lbs 2oz 17 ½ in. no IUGR they just think my placenta wasn’t working correctly I guess it didn’t develop right. I didn’t really care she was here healthy and no more stress! She was normal not blue oxygen was fine blood sugars fine! We got to go home the next day.

it was awful! i was super sick with MS more then half then the other half they had me freaking out over IUGR.
